What do we grow?
We moved to Spaarkloof Farm in January 1998 and in 2001 in-corporated our neighbour, Tierhoek Farm, into our business (total 1500ha). Situated in the Noree Valley , behind the Rooiberg Cellar, we are in an ideal position from which to grow organic fruit and vegetables.
he mixture of crops we grow was decided by the soil, the climate and history, which showed us what was particularly happy in this valley. The planning of orchards has been carefully designed so that we can have a constant flow of fruit through our pack house and processing kitchen, thereby ensuring constant employment for our picking and packing teams for at least 7 months of the year.
